Casper, WY

Casper, known as the Oil City, was once an oil boomtown. It now has a population of approximately 50,000, making it the second largest city in Wyoming. The city sits at 5,200 ft. and abuts pine covered mountains, which offer plentiful outdoor activities and opportunities for solitude. Casper is home to Casper College, the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, the Nicolaysen Art Museum, and annual events like the Casper Marathon and National Pony Express Re-Ride. Casper is known for its trophy sized rainbow and brown trout that flourish in the North Platte River.
