Fort Collins is located 57 miles north of Denver and was named Money Magazine's Best Place to Live 2006 and was number two in 2008. With a population of 136,509 and elevation of 5,003 ft., it is home to Colorado State University and is known for its great quality of life and highly rated schools. Old Town Ft. Collins hosts free concerts in the summer as well as various festivals and a large number of local breweries. Summer temperatures reach the 90s and winter the 40s making it easy to enjoy popular outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and the annual Colorado Marathon.
