The City of Mandan (population 6,718; elevation 1,647 ft) is located just across the Missouri River from Bismarck, the state capitol. The city is home to several attractions, including the Ft. Lincoln State Park, Custer House, the Railroad Museum, Raging Rivers Water Park, Huff Hills Ski Area, golf courses, 14 miles of walking and biking trails, and a hockey arena.
