Project Manager

Typical Office Day
As project managers, we have a wide range of responsibilities, including scheduling and attending project meetings, preparing reports, editing reports, interacting with clients, and reviewing invoices. We plan, direct, and oversee the work scope, schedule, staff, budgets, and client expectations for various engineering and environmental projects. We update safety protocols for projects, attend and present trainings, and promoting a safe work culture.

Typical Field Day
A typical field day includes overseeing project work, contractors, and staff. We may also meet with clients to review project progress, schedules, and budgets.

Travel
As project managers, we are required to travel. This may include a one day or a week-long visit to various project sites.

College Education
We have at least a BS in Engineering, Geology, or a closely related field, and many of us are Professional Engineers or Geologists (P.E. or P.G.).
