Trihydro Sponsors 2010 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Project
For the first time ever, the Cowboy State is providing our nation's capital with "The People's Tree," a 67-foot tree from the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Trihydro is a proud sponsor of the 2010 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Project. People across Wyoming have rallied behind this project and created nearly 6,000 ornaments to adorn the tree.
This celebrated event comes at the request of U.S. Senator John Barrasso who asked that Wyoming be given the honor of gifting this tree to the nation. Wyoming's elected officials are excited about this opportunity.
Currently, the tree is displayed on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for December 7, 2010.
