Trihydro Named a Finalist for 2011 BBB Torch Awards for Business Ethics
Trihydro Corporation has been named a finalist for the 13th annual Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Business Ethics. Trihydro is one of three finalists in the category of businesses with 100-plus employees. Winners will be announced at on April 21 in Loveland, Colorado.
The BBB Torch Awards, a program of the BBB Foundation, recognizes businesses that demonstrate exemplary business ethics, uphold high standards in relationships with customers, suppliers and shareholders, show honesty and integrity in marketing and advertising, and give back to their communities.
"Ethics and integrity are good business,” said Trihydro CEO, Jack Bedessem. “People and companies like to work with others they can count on and trust. In 2006, Trihydro adopted the Code of the West (from James Owen’s book, Cowboy Ethics) because the core principles simply represent the business values we have always practiced. Core values and high ethical standards are important in daily interactions and relationships with our staff, clients, and communities.”
Peers, colleagues and customers nominate businesses for the BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics, and business students at the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming prepare entries. An independent panel of judges selects the winners.
