Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR)
Developing client-customized LDAR solutions to identify field risks and create a safer work environment.
The services of many leak detection and repair (LDAR) providers are limited to routine monitoring and reporting. Our highly trained technicians, experienced industry professionals, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) staff work together to provide our clients with comprehensive LDAR compliance programs.
Our technicians are not only trained and tested in Method 21 monitoring techniques, they are also trained to detect potential field issues (misidentified components, open-ended lines, out-of-service equipment), proper use and maintenance of monitoring and data collection instrumentation, use of a variety of LDAR databases, and, most importantly, how to work safely and efficiently in an operating facility.
We have implemented and currently manage leak detection and repair programs for chemical manufacturers, petroleum refineries, ethanol production facilities, and natural gas plants and have completed numerous third-party LDAR audits, many for Consent Decree compliance.
We've also completed several LDAR component re-inventory projects, written LDAR compliance plans, and completed comprehensive component applicability determinations.
Field supervisors and regulatory experts are available to our technicians and clients when questions or issues arise. Our LDAR QA/QC team is comprised of individuals outside our LDAR team, which ensures objectivity when we audit our own programs. The LDAR QA/QC team also provides third-party audits of LDAR programs for which we are not the LDAR contractor.
