Trihydro is a recognized leader in air compliance program implementation and management. The firm has been assisting facilities with BWON compliance, auditing, and program implementation since the inception of the rule in 1992.
Workshop Overview
Over the past several years EPA has initiated a nationwide, broad based compliance and enforcement initiative involving the petroleum refining industry. The majority of petroleum refining companies have entered into Consent Decrees with EPA for the purpose of achieving major improvements to air quality. As a result of these Consent Decrees, many of today’s operating refineries have been required to review and enhance their BWON compliance programs. Through EPA’s efforts the focus on BWON compliance has spread to other facilities that are affected by the rule. BWON is an old regulation but a hot topic for EPA and State agencies responsible for monitoring compliance. Thus it is essential for those facilities that are required to comply with the BWON regulation to have a robust program and a clear understanding of how the rule affects their operation.
In this workshop, you will learn:
How to develop and implement a strong BWON compliance program
How to build an accurate TAB report
How to identify and characterize equipment subject to the rule
About treatment devices and standards
About new emerging issues in the BWON compliance world
How to utilize QA/QC tools when managing BWON data
