Location: Various Locations throughout Central United States
Project Overview: Trihydro conducted a multi-phase environmental assessment in support of the acquisition of a waste oil collection and processing business with multiple facilities scattered throughout the central United States. Trihydro conducted Phase II investigations of over 20 waste oil storage/processing facilities in an extremely compressed time frame.

The scope of work for this project included the development of a generic work plan, which could be tailored to each facility based on site-specific conditions. For each facility, soil and groundwater samples were collected and analyzed, and results evaluated with respect to applicable clean-up criteria. Observations and results were compiled in reports, which included executive summaries suitable for presentation to upper management. A subsequent phase of this project involved development of estimated remediation costs for certain key sites to aid in the purchaser's decision of whether or not to eliminate those sites from the acquisition.
