“I am a volunteer with Boy Scouts of America. I spend
approximately 8 hours per month volunteering my time. I help a
local Troop coordinate merit badges and also participate in outings
as an adult volunteer.”
Erin Novini: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Signal Hill, CA
“I have been volunteering with the Orange County chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters
(BBBS) for 5 years, where I (the “Big”) have been matched with a lovely young lady
(the “Little”) that whole time. The program serves at-risk youth and matches
them with volunteers in an effort to provide stability and mentoring in a young
person’s life. My Little and I have become good friends, she is doing well in
school, and is very active in her marching band. It has been very rewarding to
be a positive influence in a young person’s life!”
