Training: Conceptual Site Model (CSM) for Advanced Environmental Site Management
2 hours
Trihydro’s Conceptual Site Model (CSM) training program is specifically designed for environmental professionals responsible for decision making and management at environmental sites.
Our courses are led by highly experienced and registered professional engineers and geologists who have developed and refined CSMs for hundreds of environmental sites, including oil and gas, industrial, landfill, and mining sites.
Participants receive hands-on instruction covering key processes necessary for developing a robust CSM:
- Contaminant physical processes and their effect on mobility in the environment
- How geology and hydrogeology affect water and contaminant transport
- Geochemical conditions and their influence on contaminant degradation
- The role of biological processes, in particular bacteria as well as abiotic processes, in contaminant attenuation
- Tools available to support CSM development
We offer flexible, private on-site sessions tailored to your team size and needs. The standard course is delivered in two hours, though longer and shorter modules are available.
