Training: Environmental and Regulatory Turnaround Support for Refineries and Industrial Facilities
Trihydro’s Turnaround Support training is designed to help facilities prepare for planned outages, shutdowns, and maintenance turnarounds while maintaining environmental compliance. Led by experienced environmental professionals, the training provides practical strategies for identifying regulatory requirements, coordinating environmental activities with turnaround schedules, and reducing compliance risks before, during, and after major maintenance events.
We offer flexible virtual or in-person sessions. The standard course is delivered in an hour. Upon completion, attendees receive a Certificate of Completion.
Participants will gain practical insight into the environmental planning, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies that support successful turnaround execution. The training explores common environmental challenges associated with outages, shutdowns, maintenance activities, and startups, helping teams improve coordination and reduce compliance risks.
Topics are custom to each training request, but may include:
- Key environmental considerations during turnaround planning and execution
- Air quality compliance requirements related to shutdown, maintenance, and startup activities
- Waste management, material handling, and spill prevention best practices
- Stormwater and wastewater management during turnaround events
- Contractor oversight, environmental documentation, and regulatory preparedness
- Strategies for minimizing environmental risk while supporting operational objectives
