Planned activities for 2018 include:
• Continue and/or expand existing wellness activities: Chiropractic and Massage appointments,
Summer Brownbag Series, Bike to Work Breakfasts, Wellness Challenges
• Increase wellness engagement via a Wellness Week including speakers, an annual workday 5K,
contests, etc.
• Increase utilization of the wellness reimbursement
• Understand the general health issues employees face and provide information and resources bi-
weekly that employees can implement to improve their wellness
Sustainability Committee
In 2009, Trihydro officially launched our Sustainability Management Program to evaluate the magnitude of
our environmental impacts, determine priorities and set targets for minimizing our impacts, implementing
strategies, and measuring our results. To help us reach these goals, we established a Sustainability
Committee, which serves as the focal point for sustainability outreach and leadership. The committee is
comprised of employees with diverse professional experience and a passion for finding ways to minimize
Trihydro’s environmental footprint. The committee evaluates Trihydro’s sustainable practices and establishes
metrics to measure our progress in resource consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction and
recycling, social contributions, and project sustainability initiatives.
Ongoing program efforts championed by the committee include:
• Helping Trihydro achieve an annual Energy Star rating
• Compiling Trihydro’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory
• Tracking company waste in EPAs Portfolio Manager
• Providing resources to infuse client projects with sustainably-minded initiatives
• Improving office recycling efforts at Trihydro’s corporate headquarters and satellite offices
• Promoting community giving and other volunteer opportunities
• Advocating for Trihydro to achieve green corporate certifications
