Below are the 2017 winners of Trihydro’s Code of the West Award, and a quote from
the employees who nominated them.

#1 - Live Each Day with Courage – Pete Brown

“Pete returned from being deployed overseas in Feb/March this year. Prior to being deployed, he was
starting to ramp up his involvement with the ethanol LDAR team. Upon his return, he jumped right back
into that roll and has been spending much of his time on the road, and training new hires. He did not miss a
beat while being deployed overseas and has been key to the continued success of the ethanol LDAR team.”

#2 – Take Pride in Your Work – Kelly Birkenhauer

#4 – Do What Has to Be Done - Conrad Morgan

“I cannot think of anyone at Trihydro that would be more deserving of this award. Early in his career with
Trihydro, Conrad took on responsibilities that were well above his professions level. He has never backed
away from a request for him take on a new project or lead a task, even when he has had a heavy workload
or it has been outside of his comfort zone. Then he has taken his new role or responsibility and combined it
with an exceptional work ethic, dedication, and quality. I think he has an amazing future with Trihydro and I
look forward to watching his future successes.”
