MATT ALLSHOUSE

Matt Allshouse has been with Trihydro since 2007 and currently
serves as an Environmental Scientist as part of the Ecological
Services Team. A Wyoming native, Matt works and recreates
throughout the Intermountain West to Central America and
enjoys any time he is in the outdoors. His volunteerism parallels
this theme and is split between: University of Wyoming Men’s
Rugby assistant coach, Albany County Sherriff’s Search and
Rescue (ACSSAR) volunteer and board member, and Peregrine
Fund field biologist.

For the past 5 years, Matt has contributed to the Peregrine Fund
Orange Breasted Falcon (OBF) project aimed at conserving and
restoring an endangered OBF population in Central America.
His responsibilities on the project include surveying, capture,
DNA sampling, and banding of wild OBF chicks and oversite of
captive propagation reintroduction. History and status of the
program were recently highlighted in an article authored by
program founder Robert Berry in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology
Living Bird Magazine

More on the OBF program and project goals can be found here.
