LeakTracker Pro® Custom API Integration

Natural Gas Sites
Oklahoma

Trihydro worked with a natural gas client to build a custom Application Program Interface (API) data connection to communicate critical leak and repair information between their operations and compliance data management platforms.

This client uses Maximo, a work order system, to track its oil and gas site operations, inspections, and scheduled maintenance. It also uses LeakTracker Pro®, Trihydro’s leak monitoring and repair tracking software, for its fugitive emissions recordkeeping and US Environmental Protection Agency Compliance and Emissions Data Reporting Interface (CEDRI) reporting. The client requested a custom feature to help share important leak and survey data between both platforms and reduce time-consuming scheduling and data entry.

Trihydro’s in-house technology development team created an API connection to Maximo’s data sources and set up daily automated data communication flows. This enabled their work order system to send and receive urgent leak and survey data to LeakTracker Pro. The customizations required close collaboration with the client’s IT Department to test and confirm the new feature and make sure that the transferred data was accurately reported across each site.

The custom API integration automatically syncs both systems with new leak information and leak repair data, keeping both systems updated according to the repair windows for leaks discovered from optical gas imaging and audio, visual, and olfactory inspections. The communication of new leak data through the API automatically generates work orders for timely leak repairs.

This feature minimizes communication errors and helps manage varying inspection frequencies between OOOOa and OOOOb. It also coordinates schedules and helps maintenance teams align with repair deadlines, saving the client time and eliminating communication gaps.
