What initially attracted you to Trihydro?
I was attracted to Trihydro because we’re involved in some amazing projects across the country, but it’s still small enough that I wouldn’t feel like I was getting lost in a massive corporation.

What do you do at Trihydro?
I mainly work on environmental monitoring projects at a Wyoming refinery.

Describe your most interesting or exciting day and/or experience on the job.
I think the most interesting thing I’ve done so far was the August Turnaround at a Wyoming refinery. It’s pretty impressive to watch the refinery be taken apart, repaired, cleaned, and put back together in a such a short period of time.

What do you like best about working at Trihydro?
Definitely the people! I’ve only been at Trihydro for a few months but I already have an amazing group of friends and mentors who have taken me under their wing.

What is your favorite type of project to work on and why?
Any project where I can get outside and get my hands dirty!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
As a little girl, I either wanted to be a veterinarian or an architect. I think I changed my mind daily!

When did you know you wanted to be a (your position) – how did your passion for your career start?
I took AP Environmental Science in high school and fell in love. I knew I wanted to do something to help the environment and make a positive impact.

What is a fun fact about you?
I did a semester abroad in New Zealand. One of my favorite memories from that trip was when my friends and I completed the Abel Tasman Great Walk, where you hike along roughly 30 miles of coastline and camp on the beach.

How has the mentoring program benefited you as mentor/protégé/or both?
The mentoring program has been so helpful. There’s so much to learn starting a new job that wasn’t covered in a college class. It’s also nice to connect with people in other business units that I maybe wouldn’t get the opportunity to interact with in a normal business setting.

What other Trihydro benefits/programs do you find most useful or utilize the most?
I definitely take advantage of the wellness reimbursement program. It’s a great extra little push to go to the gym.
