What initially attracted you to Trihydro?
The freshness and health of the company, as well as the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, instead of doing the same thing day after day at a larger institution. 

What do you do at Trihydro? 
As an Assistant Project Engineer, I assist Project Managers with tasks as needed to complete projects and serve as a guide and mentor to staff with less experience.

Describe your most interesting or exciting day and/or experience on the job.
My most exciting day on the job was my first day when I saw horses right outside headquarters.  I think horses are beautiful.  I’ve since wondered if they belong to Trihydro and who keeps them.  To me, they serve as another reflection of the good health and hardworking nature of the company.  

What do you like best about working at Trihydro? 
I love the company culture here; there’s truly a work hard, play hard vibe, great communication, and a solid team spirit.  I like that it’s obvious the company does invest in the well-being of its employees; one of the pay offs being a positive and caring culture.

What is your favorite type of project to work on and why?
My favorite type of project to work on is one that is challenging, but within reach.  

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Architect or Podiatrist because I like lines, and alignments.    

When did you know you wanted to be a civil engineer – how did your passion for your career start?
I knew I wanted to be a civil engineer when I learned that my work would help many people beyond myself, making their lives easier and more enjoyable.

What is a fun fact about you?
I have a comedic certification as “Class Clown” from 5th grade, which I can recollect if no one laughs at my jokes. 

How has the mentoring program benefited you as mentor/protégé/or both?
The mentoring program has benefited me by letting me know of opportunities for growth at Trihydro and as an engineer.  I enjoy mentoring staff with less experience, remembering how important my mentors were for me when I began my career in engineering.

What other Trihydro benefits/programs do you find most useful or utilize the most?
The 401(k) contribution program is hands down, the best I’ve ever heard of.
