We recently welcomed Michelle Ramsey, a senior air professional based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to our Air Quality & Process Services Team.  

Michelle joins Trihydro from General Electric (GE), where she spent 18 years in various environmental, health, and safety (EHS) roles, including: 

  • Cost Controller Leader and Operations/Sourcing Connector for a $240MM manufacturing facility for high-volume raw material ceramic matrix composites 

  • Business EHS Leader for new product introduction (NPI), mergers & acquisitions 

  • GE Aviation Air Quality Compliance and Greenhouse Gas Emission/Energy Reduction Leader for 70+ global manufacturing and field services sites (based in OH with assignments in Canada, UK, Italy, Poland, Singapore, and Malaysia)  

  • EHS Leader of four GE Aviation VPP Star manufacturing sites with a total of 650 employees

  • Process Engineer for GE Plastics (now SABIC)  

Prior to her time at GE, Michelle dedicated 10 years to providing Clean Air Act (CAA) Amendment environmental consulting services for the Plastics Industry, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards.   

Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge to Trihydro, including insights from extensive experience with federal, states and local air regulations, permitting, auditing, and process safety management.  Her background is chemical engineering. 

Her Favorite Projects 
Michelle’s favorite type of project is one that allows her to partner with clients to view situations through experiential lenses to co-achieve the best compliant and sustainable solution.  In past projects, Michelle successfully influenced multiple functions to achieve shared goals and consolidated large amounts of data and complex regulations into messaging easily understood by all audiences.   

And Did You Know?
Michelle is passionate about animal conservation, volunteers at the Cincinnati Zoo and had the opportunity to raise Rockhopper Penguins and Ibis.  In high school, Michelle broke the 800-meter Track and Field record (holding it for ten years thereafter).    

Michelle joins the company as Trihydro continues to expand its capacity throughout the Midwest and Eastern U.S.  Welcome, Michelle!
