Andrew Pawlisz appointed by Governor Stitt to serve on Oklahoma's Water Quality Management Advisory Council (WQMAC)

Trihydro's Regulatory Toxicologist, Andrew Pawlisz, has been appointed by Governor Stitt to serve on Oklahoma's Water Quality Management Advisory Council (WQMAC).

The WQMAC plays a crucial role in safeguarding Oklahoma's water quality by reviewing and approving water quality regulations. As a board-certified toxicologist with over two decades of experience, Pawlisz brings a wealth of expertise in risk assessment, hazard evaluation, and regulatory compliance to the Council.

His background includes work on a wide range of environmental issues, from chemical exposure and site remediation to consumer product safety and regulatory compliance. Pawlisz's deep understanding of environmental toxicology will be invaluable as the Council works to protect Oklahoma's water resources. In his role, Andrew will be representing the Environmental Federation of Oklahoma, a non-profit organization where he serves as the current Water Committee Chair.

Andrew is a board-certified toxicologist with over 21 years of experience in risk assessment and evaluation, hazard assessment, and regulatory compliance, including the legacy and reformed Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Andrew specializes in finding practical solutions to regulatory and human health/environmental issues related to toxicants.
