Trihydro continues to grow its capabilities with the addition of Mr. Brian Pelan, who will take on the position of Operational & Service Excellence (OSE) Director. Brian will be based in our corporate headquarters in Laramie, Wyoming. He comes to Trihydro with more than 20 years of experience in safety, health, environmental, engineering, and industrial systems incorporating compliance, training, auditing, and project management.
A Little Bit About Brian
Brian’s background extends to the chemical, automotive, and steel industries, where over the last two decades, he built successful and responsible safety and quality management programs. His work resulted in multimillion-dollar process and product cost savings for clients in North America, as well as all-time high safety performance records for his previous employer. Brian also brings his expertise in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) management systems to Trihydro and our clients.
Brian has the following training and key certifications:
- Six-Sigma Green Belt
- Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazardous Materials Transportation Training
- ISO14001 & RC14001 Lead Auditor and ISO 9001, 14001, 2200 Internal Auditor
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 40-hour and 8-hour refreshers and HAZWOPER 24-hour On-Site Response Training
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour and 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health and OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health
Brian’s Role at Trihydro
With the retirement of our previous OSE Director, Kirk Hardy, on April 12, 2019, Brian is now in charge of planning, leading, and overseeing implementation of Trihydro’s health and safety programs and quality management system. Additionally, he evaluates data trends and program effectiveness to continuously improve safety and quality across our internal and client programs and projects.
